You shouldn’t change rules, as they are already here, but you can contribute fixes, readability improvements (links to relevant pages, breaking big pages into smaller ones, etc.), changes from newer minor version of SRD (like 5.2.1) as long as it stays CC-BY. In those cases, you are welcome to just send Pull Requests!

Regardless, please, don’t use Generative AI/LLM software for contributions.

You keep copyright over submitted changes, so feel free yourself to Authors.md and copyright header for edited files (comment reading SPDX-FileCopyrightText: [year] [copyright holder] <[email address]>). By contributing your changes, you allow using them under license in header.

To test the static website locally, install mdBooks, run git clone https://codeberg.org/mailbun/dnd-srd5.5-mdbook, and run mdbooks serve --open in project directory.
